EXPEDICIONES ANDINAS is a Tour Operator specialized in Adventure Tourism across all continental Ecuador, with more than 30 years experience in organizing and leading different groups of local and foreign tourists. It is lead by the internationally renowned mountaineer and professional mountain guide, instructor, author and naturalist, Marco Cruz Arellano. Additionally, as an exclusive alternative, Expediciones Andinas provides its customers with a mountain hut nestled at the foot of Ecuador´s highest mountain, El Chimborazo. The hut Estrella del Chimborazo is located at Totorillas Valley at 12.000 ft. and only at 40 minutes drive from Riobamba. In this valley the historic "Tambo de Totorillas" was located in the ancient road "Camino Real" between Guayaquil and Quito.
