Hellman, a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations firm headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa, has earned prestigious industry recognition for its employee relations campaign for long-time client, 3M Corporation. The project, developed for the Human Resources and Corporate Communications divisions of 3M, earned four Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. Approximately 3,700 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries were submitted in the Hermes Creative Awards 2009 competition. The employee relations campaign developed by Hellman received the Platinum Award in the CD Based Multi-Media category for "Mythbusting 3M's Retiree Medical Program," and three awards in the Employee Relations category including a Platinum Award for the "3M Retirement Program Change Announcement," a Gold Award for the "3M Consumer-Directed Health Plan Education Folder," and an Honorable Mention for the "3M Retirement Program Change Education." Hellman was enlisted to communicate a major company-wide benefits change to current and retired 3M employees. "Our team created a cohesive, approachable design for all communication materials including brochures, newsletters, ads and CD. We customized these materials for more than 12 different audiences and several languages," said Ila Scott-Ford, Chief Marketing Officer at Hellman. "We're very proud of the results of this campaign, which earned distinguished industry recognition for our client and the Hellman agency," said Scott-Ford.
