Iyia&s;s background is in social media marketing and e-commerce. In 2015, Iyia founded e-commerce shape-wear business Waist Trainer with $6000 and sold over 100,000 units of shape-wear to over 90+ countries around the world in the first 2 years using social media marketing, working with top tier global influencers such as Kylie Jenner to endorse this brand. In 2016, Iyia founded e-commerce fitness and supplement business Luxe Fitness, which is now a household supplement brand in Australasia. In 2018, Iyia founded and launched e-commerce gift box business Celebration Box. With a $4000 initial investment, she scaled this business to 3000 orders in 1 week in the 6th week after launch. Each one of these businesses were predominantly grown through social media marketing.
