Ez Lcms
EZ LCMS provides an object oriented user grouping capability. Students can be in more than one group, and a manager can be responsible for more than one course. This object oriented approach provides great flexibility in grouping. For example, the most common types of user groups that our customer create are "location" and "job role". In many LMSs, students can only belong to one group. This would mean that you would be forced to choose which of these two types of groups you were going to use. In EZ LCMS, you can easily do BOTH. You can create number of "Location" based groups, like "Southeast Office" and "Northwest Office". You can then assign any training that is "location specific" to these location based groups. Once you place the students in the groups, they will automatically be enrolled in the correct "Location based" training. You can ALSO create "job role" based training. For example, you can create a "Cashier" job role group and an "office manager" job role group. You can assign the proper job role training to the job role groups, and when you place students in the job role group, they automatically receive their proper job role training. So in this example, a student who was a "cashier" in the "southeast office", would be placed into these two groups, and would automatically receive all of the appropriate training. To take this example even further, you may create another group called "New Employees" and associate your standard new employee training with this group. Then, upon hiring a new employee, you would place them in the correct location group, job role group, and the new employee group, ensuring that they receive all appropriate training. EZ LCMS also provides the ability to create group / sub-groups structures to allow high-level managers to manage multiple lower-level groups, and group "limited catalogs" which can restrict the training available in the self service student catalog. User grouping is just one way to use the EZ LCMS training platform to make daily training management tasks ...
