Fahey

Established in 1943 by Thomas Fahey, and then taken over by David's father, David Pomfret Sr in the mid 1960's, Fahey Pest Management has been providing professional pest management services to residents and businesses on the Gulf Coast of Florida for over sixty-seven years. In fact, our Florida pest control company holds the oldest pest control license in the county! David grew up in the pest control business. While in school, he worked part-time for his father at Fahey during the summers. After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force and served our country for four years. Upon leaving the Air Force, David returned to Fahey to run a pest control route and continued to work part-time for his father while attending Manatee Community College, University of Central Florida and the University of South Florida. After college, David returned to Fahey to run the Venice branch and was soon promoted to General Manager of the Main Branch in Sarasota. After ten years with the company young David purchased Fahey in 1993 from his father who was ready to retire.
