Falcotrans
Falcotrans was established in 1986 as a subsidiary company of the family business Anthony Falzon and Sons Ltd, with the scope of launching an import/export service to Germany, France and Holland. The company expanded rapidly, purchasing the current warehouses and premises at Flagstone Wharf within ten years. The drive continued well through the nineties, with Falcotrans transporting heavy equipment and materials for the construction of large infrastructural projects. By the turn of the century, Falcotrans had developed a fleet of forty refrigerated trailers across mainland Europe, equipped with GPS monitoring systems for temperature and location control. In order to maintain its lead, Falcotrans has ordered a new fleet of trucks, consolidated its offices, warehousing and repair centre in new, state-of-the-art premises. Quality is a key consideration in every aspect of Falcotrans operations, and the company has implemented quality control across the board and gained ISO 9001 Certification. Falcotrans has already been accredited by a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer for the transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products.
