Fars Chemical Industries Company (FCIC) was established pursuant to a joint co-operation of Iranian investors and the British BIP, and started its operation in 1981. FCIC's factories cover an area of 30,000 square meters built on a piece of land of over 400,000-square meters, 8 kilometers west of Shiraz near the magnificent historical site of the Persepolis. FCIC is the first manufacturer of Formalin and the largest manufacturer of resins and moulding powders in Iran. In 1997, FCIC received ISO 9001-2000 Certificate from DNV proving the fact that it has always worked to guarantee customer satisfaction with high quality products.
