FAST - Fluor SKM Iron Ore Joint Venture, is a partnership between global business leaders; working with BHP Billiton Iron Ore on its multi-billion dollar growth plans in Western Australia. The FAST Programme is defining and leading the international natural resources market. FAST oversees the construction of several expansion projects simultaneously and selected EPCM (engineering, procurement, construction and management) services. BHP Billiton Iron Ore's current growth projects under construction account for more US$7 billion of capital. These current growth projects will deliver capacity of 220 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with subsequent debottlenecking activities to 240Mtpa.
