FCS Namibia

FCS was founded in 1994 and provides accounting, tax advisory and other financial services. Our very first office was opened on 1st June 1994 and consisted of about 30m2 of office space at Breite Street no. 2 in Swakopmund. Our first employee, Annette Kunzle, joined FCS in September 1994 and in 1995 FCS was housed in a Close Corporation. In May 1996 our staff at the Swakopmund office had increased to 4 people, so we relocated to larger premises at 49 Kaiser Wilhelm Street. In August 1996, our Windhoek office was opened. We built our first "own" building at 128 6th Street in Walvis Bay and inaugurated it on 1st September 2005. Our plan was to accommodate future growth as well as additional staff intake for at least the next 5 years. By 2007, the Walvis Bay building was too small to accommodate all our staff and we decided to significantly extend the building in 2008, with a view to provide sufficient space for the operations until at least 2013. In 2007 we also opened a satellite office in Henties Bay. In the first 15 years of its' existence, FCS has grown at a rate of not less than 32% in any given year. We achieved this without any formal advertising but primarily by word of mouth. Our financial stability is further reflected by the fact that if FCS was to loose it's top 100 clients all at once, turnover would only decrease by around 14%, which reflects the broad client base and solid independent platform that has been established over the years. Currently our team consists of about 90 staff and 10 partners in our nation-wide offices. We now successfully service approximately 4,000 primarily SME clients located throughout Namibia. Our approach is simple - pragmatic, hands-on assistance for all our clients that have come to expect the delivery of a top class service; coupled with the highest standard of integrity, quality and transparency.
