The FC Urban story began in The Netherlands when founding members wanted to create the platform to play football games without the rigid commitments and obligations of competitive football clubs at high prices. Casual and affordable football was the aim where you just pay a small monthly fee and opt in and out to play games whenever it suits you. Today, FC Urban Netherlands hosts games in over several Cities and since 2018, it has branched out across the sea to London, UK. FC Urban London shares the same ethos, to create fun and friendly organised football games across the City. We host games in various locations such as; Acton/Shepherds Bush, Whitechapel, Archway/Upper Holloway, Clapham, Kennington, Paddington, Hyde Park and London Bridge. More locations will be added throughout 2020 opening more opportunities for Londoners to play football. These locations provide a variety of Football games to be played. We have indoor football at Shoreditch and various 3G football courts under floodlights at most other venues. At the weekend, we host games at parks where we supply the goals and mark out the pitches. Theres a game to suit everyone. Each game is hosted by an FC Urban Master who supplies the goals, balls, bibs and referees the game noting down the goals and goalscorers. There are no set teams and they are selected based on players ability to create the most even and competitive games of football each time. The stats from the games are collected and will be shown in a leaderboard so you can keep track of your progress playing football with FC Urban. We even go for a post-game drink after some games which is great for those of you new to London and looking to make new friends.
