Ferncliff
Ferncliff is a heritage site in Sri Lanka. The bungalow was built in the mid 1800s, and has been a family home ever since. With renovations that have retained its colonial charm, Ferncliff is set to capture your imagination, and is one of the last links with 'Little England', and the great white hunter Samuel Baker, who discovered this idyllic valley, full of elephants, deer and wild boar. Below the main street of Nuwara Eliya the land drops suddenly and Lalla fell into deep waters, past the houses of Cranleigh and Ferncliff. They were homes she knew well, where she had played and argued over cards.
