Family Health Center of Worcester
Established in 1972, Family Health Center of Worcester's mission is to improve the health and well-being of all residents in the Greater Worcester area, especially culturally diverse populations, by providing access to affordable, high quality, integrated, comprehensive, and respectful primary health care and social services, regardless of patients' ability to pay. Family Health is a teaching health center with residency programs to train the health care workforce. The health center is a primary care patient-centered medical home that provides family medicine, dentistry, nursing, behavioral health, vision care, walk-in urgent care, prenatal and OB care, outpatient addiction treatment services, school health centers, nutrition services and education, HIV/AIDS care, refugee and immigrant health programs, pharmacy, x-ray, mammography, onsite lab services, and insurance enrollment support. Family Health employs 400 community residents, and offers public health programs directed at early detection and disease prevention. Family Health Center of Worcester's Board of Directors has retained the executive search firm Witt/Kieffer to assist with the search.
