Fimet Dental Equipment

Fimet was founded in 1981 and is located in Monninkylä 60 km east of Finland's capital city Helsinki. Fimet is privately owned and the main shareholders are the key management of the company and SITRA, a Finnish venture capital organization. Fimet's growth has been rapid. The turnover of the company has increased seventeen-fold over the past decade. This is due to continuous introduction of new product lines, forming of international strategic alliances and joint ventures. This path of growth is also expected to continue in the future, with new innovative products already on the market as well as under development. Currently Fimet employs 60 persons on an average in Monninkylä, Finland and another 60 in Fimet's joint venture company in Shanghai, China. The strategy of Fimet - as a prominent, international high-tech supplier - is to design develop, manufacture and market medical equipment as well as to transfer know-how on design and production technologies to allied manufacturers world wide.
