Firetalker PR
Lynette Hoy created Firetalker PR to serve people that are ready and willing to use publicity and promotion to reach their business goals. These are businesses and entrepreneurs that have been around a while, and have a clear mission and vision. These people know they are under serving their customers and themselves, by not having the time or knowledge to get publicity and promotion-to gain more customers and get media exposure too. With nearly 25 years in the public relations world her experience and expertise is vast, and the ability to step in and get buzz going and feet walking in the door, (or fingers clicking on links to online stores) is not only electric, but darn right hot! Chief Hoy has worked on many accounts over the years with award winning companies like Zuckerman Fernandes and Partners out of San Francisco, where she managed over 10 million dollars in publicity and promotional campaigns for accounts including Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, Kimpton Hotels, University Games, and more. Early on with Miller Weiner in San Francisco, she worked on an account for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in promoting TUMS as a supplement to aid in the prevention of cancer, and to bring awareness to the benefits of getting enough calcium in your system. She worked on a media tour for the (then) president of NIH, Dr. Barbara Levine, who was the spokesperson and secured appearances on all major networks across the country including CNN. Her level of creativity and energy kept people engaged and coming back for more! From the agency side of public relations she moved to the client side, accepting an offer as the Public Relations and Promotions Manager for University Games, managing four game divisions across the country and an online division too. Great fun and the perfect place for all her creative energy! Working with the media comes as natural to the Chief as talking, (which she does a lot of) and it has from the beginning of her career (which according to her father started at birth). Her relationships with the media and seasoned ability to get her clients on all media platforms, online and off explain her tagline: Hot on the press.
