First Derivative Architectural Services

First Derivative Architectural Services provides architectural services to individual homeowners, builders, developers, designers, engineers, and other industry professionals. FDAS opened its doors in 1998. Our work can be seen throughout Northern Illinois from Barrington to Yorkville and from Chicago to Sterling, as well as in Michigan, Kansas, Wisconsin and Canada. The vast majority of our work has been residential. Our projects have ranged from small porches through second-floor additions to multi-million dollar new homes. Our architect, Heidi Lendi, graduated with honors from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago with degrees in Architecture and Mathematics. She has been a licensed architect with the state of Illinois since 1997 and has been NCARB (National Council of Architect Registration Boards) certified since 1998.
