Astraeus

Astraeus Airlines offers a dynamic and flexible approach to charter requests to ensure that our customers get an aircraft that meets their requirements. Following a request from the UK rock band Iron Maiden for an aircraft to accompany their "Somewhere Back in Time" world tour to carry the band, support staff and equipment, Astraeus Airlines pioneered the Boeing 757 convertible combi concept providing additional cargo lift whilst maintaining passenger comfort. Being the first airline to perform such an aircraft conversion Astraeus Airlines worked closely with the relevant regulatory authorities, along with our maintenance and design teams, to ensure that the modification met the customer's requirements but remained within the limits of the aircraft. This was a classic case of listening to the customer's needs and through a creative design process, typical of the Astraeus Airlines solutions attitude, bringing to fruition a successful outcome. The aircraft can be modified into the combi concept within a matter of days and is available for both short and long term contracts.
