Food Bank for Larimer County
Founded in 1984, the Food Bank for Larimer County is the county's only Feeding America clearinghouse for donated food. In 2019, the Food Bank provided enough food for 7.36 million meals through a variety of hunger-relief programs, including its Fresh Food Share pantries, Nutritious Kitchen and Nourishing Network program. An estimated 37,500 Larimer County residents received assistance through the Food Bank's programs and partners last year. Last year, there were more than 165,000 visits to the Food Bank's Fresh Food Share pantries, while its Nutritious Kitchen prepared more than 195,000 meals and snacks for children and seniors. Additionally, its Nourishing Network program provided food to more than 100 community partner programs, including food pantries, soup kitchens and domestic violence shelters.
