FORUM VERLAG HERKERT GMBH was founded in 1988 by Ronald Herkert and formed the nucleus of today's international FORUM MEDIA GROUP . FMG is an international media company based in Merching (near Munich) and one of the "largest specialist publishers in Germany" (Börsenblatt, 2016). In 2016, the group generated annual sales of approx. EUR 94 million and employed more than 1,000 people in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.
