Foster Arizona

Foster Arizona was established in 2013 by foster/adoptive mom and creative, Kimberly Vehon, in response to the increasing number of children needing homes and the urgent need for Arizonans to get involved in the foster care crisis. Foster Arizona is a non-profit public charity focused on educating, encouraging, and empowering Arizonans to positively impact the lives of kids in foster care. Our vision is that every child in Arizona's foster care system will be empowered, supported, and have the opportunity to enrich their lives through intentional community connections. We believe that every child deserves to be valued and supported by their local community. We believe children thrive in a family setting with parental figures empowered to succeed, equipped with quality resources, and connected to community. We believe that ordinary people can foster hope and change a life. And, we believe that education and collaboration is key in changing the future for Arizona's children.
