Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers
(Lexington, KY) Fast casual gourmet burger concept, Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers has opened a third company-owned unit. The Lexington, Kentucky store is located in the heart of the University of Kentucky campus at 395 S. Limestone Street. More than one million dollars was invested in the central Kentucky location, which opened in early July 2015. The new corporate unit marks the beginning of a southeastern expansion for Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers and parent company Spartan Pastabilities. To mark the growth, the company is extending its Freakin' Franchising royalty incentive. All new U.S. franchise agreements signed through December 31, 2015 will be eligible for a 25% reduction in royalty fees for the first three years. "Not only is this a great opportunity to make a jump into what we think is one of the better, "better burger" concepts in the country, but we're also backing it up with an incredible franchise support system," said president and founder Brent Skaggs. Freakin' offers a complete package for franchisees including training, opening and operations support as well as marketing guidance. "We took everything we learned over the past 20+ years as franchisees ourselves and came up with a plan that supports each and every new unit," Skaggs said. Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers has garnered national attention since its inception in May of 2012 including a #12 ranking on Fast Casual's 2013 list of the "Top 100 Movers & Shakers" nationwide. Freakin' was also named one of the "14 Burger Concepts to Watch in 2014" by BurgerBusiness.com. Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers opened its first location in May of 2012 in Flint, Michigan.
