F. Richard Wilton Jr., Inc. was established in 1953. Starting out small, the company grew rapidly. As new products were introduced to the industry, Wilton added them into the scope of the company's work. In the state of Virginia, the firmed performed the first EIFS application using a Dryvit finish system, the first thin coat plaster installation, the first metal stud and drywall partition, the first prefabricated panel shop and the first installation of demountable partitions.
