FS Impact Finance

Frankfurt School Financial Services (FSFS) is a 100% subsidiary of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management GmbH, one of the largest private universities in Europe with specialization in Management and Finance. Thus we have an extensive network, a full-scale access to resources and a well-known stability. Principles as high quality standards, sustainability and independency are essential for us as subsidiary of a well-respected university. Our work methods combine the theory taught at university with the practice of the capital market. Development finance is our major field of activity. Since the early 90s Frankfurt School is working successfully in consulting and training services in development countries. Our services are focused in Micro Banking Transformation, SME Finance, Risk Management, Energy Efficiency, Rural and Agricultural Finance as well as Housing Finance and are operated by the departments IAS International Advisory Services and Frankfurt School UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance (http://www.frankfurt-school.de/content/en/consulting.html). On the one hand, FSFS is structuring and managing institutional investment solutions like the first German microfinance mutual fund as well as the recently founded GLS Alternative Investment - Mikrofinanzfunds and on the other hand it operates vehicles for initiatives of international development finance institutions as the currently managed fund MIDF (Municipal Infrastructure Development Fund) initiated by KfW and EBRD. More products with different priorities and links to university facilities are currently in the launch phase.
