FSG Tool & Die

The company was founded in 1961 by John Tree MBE DL and was originally known as Form & Surface Grinding Ltd. In 1987 the company moved into purpose built facilities in Llantwit Fardre close to Pontypridd. With the retirement of the original founder the company moved to being professionally managed that built a solid business with sustainable growth. In 2007 the company moved to new premises in Llantrisant just alongside the Royal Mint. The company is built upon growing its own talent, the apprentice programme was started in 1965. Over the years the company has trained hundreds of young engineers and has been recognised with national training awards. Ex-apprentices from the business can be found in many industries worldwide including Formula 1 teams!
