Fred Smith Store Fixtures

Since 1963, Fred Smith Store Fixtures Inc. has provided high quality laminate panels and component parts. Fred and Laura Smith built a small shop in the field behind their house and began installing fixtures in a wide variety of locations. Area bars, restaurants, banks and libraries featured work from our company. The focus eventually shifted from installation to manufacturing for offices, hotels and stores. What started as a small family-owned business grew into a large manufacturing company focusing on providing high pressure laminate and low pressure laminate parts for industry leaders at a fair price. With fast lead times and high quality, the company has been able to grow while maintaining a team environment focusing on bettering employees within a safe work environment that promotes personal growth. Currently, approximately 150 employees work at the factory located in the southern Indiana town of Depauw. In 2016, a second facility was built in nearby Corydon, Indiana. This facility features new equipment that allows faster production times and assembly capabilities for case goods.
