Fumigation International Mozambique

We identify and service a number of establishments on an annual basis, providing our fumigation services to these establishments free of charge. We are open to approach from any establishment for consideration in this regard. Although FIM was established to mainly facilitate the tobacco processing industry, the significant expansion of the Mozambican economy and its diversity has allowed us to continually expand, upgrade and introduce new services as the demand arose. Since our establishment we have worked closely with the Ministry of Agriculture; not only in terms of registering our company but also to register our products. This has led to FIM being issued with the first ever Methyl Bromide Applicators Licence by the department. The Ministry has also on occasion used our facilities in Beira to introduce graduating agricultural students to fumigation activities and requirements for various crops and the methods used to fumigate. FIM is currently involved in an outreach programme that is being introduced to encourage small scale farmers to fumigate their produce, thus producing a higher quality product and benefitting from an improved yield, allowing for sustainability.
