Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants and Research Institute is a Cardiac Electrophysiology-only practice, offering comprehensive, specialized care in the treatment of patients with arrhythmias. The practice performs various diagnostic tests in the office to determine the most appropriate course of care for each patient, such as: Electrocardiogram Echocardiogram Implanted Cardiac Device Interrogation Stress Test Head Up Tilt Table Test In addition, the physicians specialize in the following hospital procedures: Atrial Fibrillation Ablations Ventricular Tachycardia Ablations Implants of pacemakers, defibrillators and bi-ventricular devices Electrophysiology Studies Transesophageal Echocardiograms Cardioversions Our physicians perform over 400 ablations and implant over 550 cardiac devices per year in Middle Georgia, with privileges at more than four local hospitals. We are also involved in several research areas that encourage continuing education.
