Gamenet Group was established on 1 July 2016 from the merger of Gamenet SpA and Intralot Italia, and is one of the largest gaming companies operating in Italy in the sector of public games authorised by the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (Customs and Monopolies Agency), with takings of over €7 billion, over 550 employees and a significant presence in four business areas: 1) AWP, 2) VLT, 3) Retail, 4) Betting and Online. Gamenet SpA is a gaming concessionaire active since 2006, with an offer of products ranging from Amusement With Price (AWP) and video-lottery machines to the management of a network of various brands of directly owned points of sale located across the whole of Italy, as well as services to support its customers and commercial partners. Intralot Italia, a company within the Intralot Group, one of the world's largest providers of services in the gaming sector, obtained a licence from the Agenzia Dogane e Monopoli in 2006 for collecting sports and horse betting and for online gaming. With a current network of over 750 points of sale, established through integration with the Gamenet network, Intralot Italia is one of the leading operators on the Italian betting market. The Group's main shareholders are Trilantic Capital Partners Europe, with around 80% of the capital, and Intralot Group, which holds 20% of the shares. Trilantic Capital Partners Europe is one of the most active private equity operators in Europe in the consumer & leisure, business services and pharmaceuticals/healthcare sectors, with around €1.6 billion in assets under management.
