Gamini Engineering Works (Private) Limited, a pioneer in the field of Plantation Machinery, was established in 1977, in Ambatale, Sri Lanka. The company is equipped with a fully fledged Foundry Division, a Tea Machinery Division and a Rubber Machinery Division that are equipped with a wide range of production machinery such as Boring, Milling, Hobbing, Slotting, Plaining, Surface Grind-ing, Gear Cutting, Centre Lathes, Turret Lathes, Drilling, Rolling, etc. The Founder, Mr. K D Gunesekera, adhered to just two rules to managing the organization; Commit-ment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction. Gamini adopts an end-to-end process in manufacturing machinery starting from a preliminary concept of casting, followed by machining and final assembly complemented with by a100% "in-house" test-run program."GAMI NI" is also fully geared to undertake the designing and manufac-turing of machinery as specified by its Customers. "GAMINI"established its business in manufacturing of Brick &Tile and Saw Milling Machinery during the late 70's and diversified into manufacturing & servicing of Rubber Processing Machinery in the mid 80's and further diversified into manufacturing of Tea Machinery in the late 90's. After the dawn of the millennium, GAMIN! integrated its basic mechanical engineering expertise's with advanced electrical engineering solutions and branched out into Factory Process Automations specializing in Tea Factories.
