The Garden Route Company was founded by Richard Radford and Sandy Ayers in 2000 and have since continued to focus on designing & constructing groundbreaking sustainable landscapes throughout California and abroad. As dedicated designers and craftsmen Sandy & Rich have grown a small two man San Francisco startup into what is now a multi disciplined Landscape Architecture, Construction & Consulting firm employing talented Landscape Designers, Craftsmen, Construction Managers & Horticulturalists. Our projects range from small to large contemporary urban & suburban homes to large estates, resorts & commercial developments. Our designs and built landscapes reflect the diversity of the clients who hire us but all our gardens have a common thread of timeless sustainability. As licensed Landscape Architects and Contractors The Garden Route Co provides a seamless design/build service from conception to installation and garden care services. The Garden Route Co has been the recipient of numerous prestigious landscape design and construction awards including winning Best of Show two years running at The SF Flower and Garden Show (2010, 2011) & 2015 Gold Garden Creator Award as well as the CLCA 2015 Best Contractor/Builder Award.
