Garware Polyester Ltd. (The company) is the flagship company of the Garware Group, promoted by Late Padmabhushan Dr. Bhalchandra (Abasaheb) Garware. Mr. Shashikant Garware, the Chairman & Managing Director has headed the company since incorporation in the year 1957. He is assisted by his three highly educated daughters - Ms. Monika Garware, Ms. Sarita Garware and Ms. Sonia Garware who are working whole-time for the organization. The Company is the pioneer and largest manufacturer exporter of Polyester Films in India. The products are exported to over eighty countries across the globe. The great visionary Late Padmabhushan Dr. Bhalchandra (Abasaheb) Garware thereafter pioneered the manufacture of Nylon, Plastics and Polyester in India. he group has expanded its activities into Nylon, Plastics, Polyester, synthetic Ropes, Paints,Marine Nets and Shipping etc.
