GasTurb

GasTurb GmbH was founded in 2013 in cooperation with the Institute of Jet Propulsion and Turbomachinery at RWTH Aachen University. The history of the GasTurb software program is much older: it began in the early 1990's when the original author Dr. Joachim Kurzke had the idea to build a program that gives a thorough insight into gas turbine theory while being easy to operate. GasTurb is now one of the leading software tools for people in the gas turbine industry including engine maintenance companies, operators of air, land and sea-based gas turbines, consultants and research organizations. The software is also exceptionally well suited for teaching at universities.
