Gateway Mortgage Bank
It was established and licensed by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2005 and commenced Mortgage business in February 2006. The Bank was subsequently accredited by Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) to access National Housing Fund loan. It was established to be a major financial institution to the Government of Ogun State and the teeming populace of the state, providing financial service through its arrays of products which include: Gateway Home Empowerment Scheme (GHOMES) Gateway Land Acquisition Loan (GLAL) Gateway National Housing Fund (GNHF) Gateway Home Improvement Scheme (GHIS) Gateway Rent Loan (GRL) Gateway Shop Acquisition Scheme (GSAS) Gateway School Improvement Scheme (GSIS) Gateway General Savings (G GSA) Gateway Treasure Children Savings Accounts (GTCSA) Gateway Target Savings Account (GTSA) Gateway Current Account (GCA) His Excellency, Senator Ibikunle Amosun CON, FCA has returned hope to the bank by enlisting it as part of the project to be resuscitated in his mission and agenda to rebuild the state. For the bank to be able to compete favorably with other rated financial institutions in the state and Nigeria at large, His Excellency approved the injection of N2.5billion into the bank in December 2014 to obtain its current license of a State Mortgage Bank, which is a phenomenon that brought about the recent changes in the status of the bank. As part of Strategy to revitalize the bank, he appointed a new Managing Director in person of Mr. Olawale Osisanya in the month of October 2015, to redirect the course of the bank, and to ensure its compete favorably with Mortgage bank of its nature
