Gateway Woods

Gateway Woods was founded in 1976, when our first two group-homes were opened on our 50-acre campus near Fort Wayne, IN. Since that time, our ministries have steadily grown through the guiding hand of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Program and facility additions have included: 1976 - Residential Care 1979 - Child and family counseling 1986 - Independent living 1988 - 3rd group home: Maple House 1989 - Foster care 1994 - Family services in Illinois (ended 2006) 1997 - Gateway Woods School 1998 - Home-Based Services 2001 - International and domestic adoption 2005 - Residential program for pregnant teens and teen moms 2007 - 4th fourth group home: Cypress House 2008 - 5th group home: Pine House 2012 - Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program 2014 - Gateway Woods Family Services of Illinois 2015 - Gateway Woods Linking to Attain Responsibility & Community (LARC) Program Today, Gateway Woods is a provider of choice for a variety of children's services in northeast Indiana and beyond.
