Glamour Group

The beginnings of the company date back to 1991, when we represented the German company Muelhens. In 1997, we joined with Wella Company, and a year later we changed our name to Cosmopolitan Cosmetics. The growth was supported by the acquisition by P&G Prestige Products (2005). Two years later, we were renamed Prestige Products Czech Republic and joined Glamour Group. GLAMOUR a.s. was established in former Czechoslovakia in Brno in 1990. The place of business was set to Brno in consideration of strategically advantageous location in central area of former Czechoslovakia. Since 1993, after dissolution of Czechoslovakia, there has been operating the independent company Glamour Slovakia with company residence in Banská Bystrica. In July 2007 Glamour Group merged with Prestige Productscompanythat has subsidiaries in Czech Republic (Prague), Slovakia (Bratislava) and Hungary (Budapest). Glamour Group has become the regional category leader on Central European market. Furthermore in 2010 Glamour widened its portfolio by another merger - this time with Wella Professionals - to conquer yet another field of cosmetic products. After over 20 years of building a success story of marketing and distributing selective cosmetic products, GLAMOUR group have become a true market leader in its field of business activities. It currently represents over 50 world known brands from different fields of beauty world. The portfolio is wide, ranging from fragrance brands, colour cosmetics, skin care brands as well as hair care products. In summer 2017 we have changed the name and legal form to Glamour Distribution CZ, a.s..
