Love to run, fish, ski or engage in any other sport (or all of them)? There are lots of awesome products, resources and experiences out there just waiting for you to try, but what are they and how do you find them? They're not so easy to find on the search engines and sure, we all see great ideas come through our Facebook and Twitter feeds, or into our inboxes, but what about finding the information you need, when you want it? And if you can't find the information you need when you want it, then you're most likely making decisions based on the information that's convenient, which means you're likely making the wrong decisions, or at least not the best ones. We aim to change that. Our mission at GearSay is to make it easier to find the information about your sports you need, when you want it. What are we doing? Our objective as a search engine is to find the information on the Internet about recreational sports and to organize it in a way that is most useful to those of us who love our sports. We're finding the content produced by and about product companies, training resources, events, top athletes, places to go, apps and more, and we're finding trusted social resources, such as key YouTube and Twitter channels and blogs. And then we're organizing this information to make it easier for you to find, store and share. We were recently chosen by the Sports and Fitness Industry Association, a leading industry trade organization, as a finalist in their initial startup challenge, one of five companies selected out of 56 applicants from 20 countries. So we think we're on the right track! Who are we?
