Gemdale was founded in early 1988, and is headquartered in Shenzhen, China. It was one of the first listed real estate companies with nationwide business coverage across all of China. Gemdale's businesses include development, sales, and operation of residential and commercial real estate, real estate financing, property services and community operations, and sports industry cluster operations. Its total asset is approximately 278.4 billion CNY (~43 billion USD). In 2018, Gemdale reported a revenue of 162.3 billion CNY (~25 billion USD). In recent years, Gemdale has ventured into early-stage investments and have made investments into AI and Med Tech start-ups based in China and United States.
