GEM Services is a multinational semiconductor assembly and test contractor. Founded in 1998, GEM specializes in small-outline surface-mount packages for power management semiconductors. GEM Services' customers are leading semiconductor manufacturers who require both industry standard and advanced packaging solutions as part of their portfolio of value-added products for portable, battery-powered communications and computing systems. GEM operates three factories in Greater China: Shanghai, China; Hefei, China; and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, R.O.C., producing high volume, high quality, industry standard and advanced discrete, IC and MCM packages, including concepts co-developed with customers. GEM's founders and management are semiconductor professionals, each with over 30 years experience in semiconductor operations, marketing, and executive management.
