First established in 1966, General Steel began in Western Kentucky and has since grown to have offices in four locations. We have since hired more than 60 highly skilled employees to be on our team, as each and every team member works full-time to accommodate your needs. Whether you need to rent a forklift, heavy transportation, a rigging crew, an 8-ton plant crane or a 500-ton all-terrain crane, General Steel can handle all of your rigging, moving, and lifting needs. With a fleet of over 30 reliable cranes for any type of job, we offer plant cranes, boom trucks, rough-terrain cranes (RT crane), truck cranes, and all-terrain cranes (AT cranes). Our crane fleet consists of Broderson, Shuttle Lift, National, Terex, Link-Belt, Grove, and Liebherr cranes. With locations in Evansville, Indiana; Bowling Green, Kentucky; Elizabethtown, Kentucky; and Hopkinsville, Kentucky, we serve clients in Tennessee, Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio.
