The mission of the Institute for Generative Leadership (IGL) is to enable people to elevate their leadership impact and the impact of their organizations and communities to generate results that matter. Producing more effective leaders, executives, managers and teams means developing people who are skilled in living and working with others, in listening and creating action, in creating possibilities for the future and fulfilling them through coordinated action. Developing more capable human beings is the foundation for building more successful organizations, communities and businesses, and a healthy world in which everyone thrives. We believe leadership and management are professions, not just roles, and that they need a new discipline that enables them to achieve professional standards. We are committed to contributing to the development of this discipline and to making it available to the world.
