Generation Farms

Generation Farms has developed a safe and informed method of working with humans and horses together for healing and wellness. In all programs at Generation Farms we follow a consistent philosophy creating a tone of calm and flexibility for humans and horses. Our approach is drawn from principles of authentic horsemanship, somatic psychology, mindfulness, nature based practice and trauma therapy, as well as the Eponaquest Approach. Sharing our knowledge is a way to expand the possibilities this wonderful work offers, and gives us many opportunities to deepen our own abilities. People have traveled from all across Canada, the USA and beyond to attend training workshops at Generation Farms. We have expanded our approach in the past several years to include nature based philosophy and practice. While this is a study on its own, it influences our EFW practice and we include aspects in our trainings. Kate Burns will be offering nature based workshops and individual sessions that can be a wonderful adjunct to an EFW approach. Emily Pelletier is available at Generation Farms to teach EFW students the skills of horsemanship suited to practicing EFW.
