Genoa Area Recreational Soccer

Genoa Area Recreational Soccer is a member of the East Suburban Soccer League along with Oak Harbor Soccer, Eastwood Soccer, Lake Soccer, Woodmore Soccer, Northwood Soccer, Rossford Soccer and Port Clinton Soccer. The East Suburban Soccer League and Genoa Area Recreational Soccer (GARS) are affiliated with the national organization of The Soccer Association for Youth (SAY). It is their philosophy to provide an organization, within which children can learn and play soccer. Genoa Area Recreational Soccer and ESSL provide recreational soccer to children of any skill level. There are no tryouts and all players play at least of 50% of each game. Genoa Area Recreational Soccer is an excellent opportunity for children to learn and play the game. One major goal is for all participants, players, coaches and spectators to have fun. Please remember the E.S.S.L. and Genoa Area Recreational Soccer have a "0" tolerance policy in regards to language, fighting and unsportsman-like conduct. All Participants, including parents, are urged to display good sportsmanship and remember that in the GARS league,we play soccer "for the fun of it."
