George Kent's integrated facility in Puchong, Selangor, the largest hot brass-forging plant in Southeast Asia, produces water meters and other brass fittings for standard household applications and industrial installations. Rated under ISO Class 'C', George Kent's water meters are recognised as the preferred standard products both locally and internationally. Beyond water meters, the plant plays an integral role in manufacturing a wide range of other brass products and waterworks fittings such as stopcocks, bib taps, ferrules, housings, brass parts and ball float-control valves. With continued investment into its integrated manufacturing facility, the Group commits to strengthening its ability to deliver solutions that meet future demand that is growing in tandem with rising household and industrial needs in Malaysia and across the region. George Kent has increased its production capacity to two million units in 2014 and continues to increase its production capacity to meet future demand.
