South Georgia Pecan Company has been in existence since 1913, and was incorporated in 1926. We began as a small shelling company, became part of the Beatrice Food Group in 1967, and were bought by the current owners in 1983. We are a family-owned business that employs up to 175 employees during peak season. We have grown to be a leading sheller and processor of shelled pecans in the United States. Our company is located in southern part of Georgia in the heart of the pecan belt, which allows us easy access to the shipping docks in Jacksonville, Florida and Savannah, Georgia for export.
