Wave Technologies was founded in New York City and San Francisco in August 2015 with the goal of becoming the social network for events on mobile. The idea was born when the founders realized there was no quick and easy way to create an event on your mobile, invite your friends, and all share in the experience together in the real world. They were frustrated with the noise surrounding their social life and the lack of a go-to spot to find out what their friends were doing. Their solution was Wave - the new home for your social life. Wave is a mobile app that lets you chat, share photos and details of your event, and see who is going - all in one place.
