Instituto Estelar Bilingüe, founded by Bethany Kirk, is a Spanish and English school in Liberia, Costa Rica, with extensive experience and a big heart. Dedicated to using the most effective methodology and holding the highest educational standard in the classroom, while also making a difference in the community, Instituto Estelar Bilingüe is a dynamic and exciting place to study. The school welcomes students of all ages and walks of life to study language in our historical building on the Calle Real with our outstanding professors, all of whom are native speakers of the language they teach and certified teachers. The name of the school, Estelar, means stellar or pertaining to the stars in English. Estelar describes every student who has the courage to take up language study and pursue bilingualism. And our English students can truly reach for the stars in their careers, for example, when they master the English language since most of the best jobs in Costa Rica require English.
