Global Fire Services (GFS) was founded by two friends, Adil Naeem and Abdulla Saleem Abdul Sattar, in 2011, in the Maldives. Adil and Abdulla, being born and raised in the Maldives, recognized the lack of infrastructure and fire safety options available to the public. Over a coffee, the two decided they needed to take things into their own hands and remedy the situation. From that point onwards, the two friends have dedicated themselves to improving the problems they once witnessed and have in the process begun to make the Maldives a safer place. Despite modest beginnings, as a result of Adil and Abdulla's determination, dedication, attention to detail and sheer force of will, GFS has flourished over the course of the last few years and is now one of the Maldives' premier fire solutions providers. Moreover, GFS is extremely proud of the relationships it has fostered during the course of its existence. Currently, GFS' clients comprise of both world renowned international brands as well as a number of local businesses. Notably, GFS is also very proud of its work in the field of residential properties. GFS is also delighted to share the fact that its staff and affiliates have more than 50 years of experience dealing with a variety of fire safety related work. Additionally, in order to ensure that all of our work is exceptional, we are fully committed to finding only the best people in their field. To that end, a number of GFS' staff have previously been ranking officers within the Maldives National Defense Force. In fact, Adil himself has extensive experience in the Maldives National Defense Force's Fire and Rescue Services division, where he served proudly for a period of 12 years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. Abdulla has also been an example of excellence during his career and resultantly has served in numerous management positions in both the public and private sectors, for the past 25 years.
