GHADDAR Machinery Co. is an appointed Perkins OEM and exclusive distributor for Leroy SOMER Alternators. Currently, GHADDAR Machinery Co. produces an average of 9000 GHADDAR Powertech generating sets per year catering to the local, regional and global demand. The company is considered one of the largest generating set manufacturers in the Middle East based on volumes exported in the past 10 years. In 1980, GHADDAR Machinery Co. was founded by its owner and presiding Chairman, Mohammed Samih Ghaddar. Based in the South of Lebanon, GHADDAR Machinery Co. started building its first GHADDAR Powertech electrical generating set, responding to the demand of local Lebanese market. Gradually, the company expanded its business and hired up to 220 engineers and technicians in the fields of electrical and mechanical engineering to build generating sets of all ranges and service the aftermarket. The company has also employed 25 support personnel in sales, marketing, finance and the various operational and managerial sectors. Nowadays, GHADDAR MACHINERY Co. portfolio has grown even more to include all types of engine driven power solutions. The company has built a state-of-the-art power plant with the latest modern operating Machinery.
