Ghana Integrated Aluminium Development Corporation (Giadec)

Ghana Integrated Aluminium Development Corporation (GIADEC) was established to develop and promote Ghana's Integrated Aluminium Industry.Bauxite, the raw material for aluminium, has been mined in Ghana since the 1940s but currently exports it in its raw form. Together with our partners, GIADEC plans to establish refineries and expand the country's aluminium smelting capacity as we seek to position Ghana as one of the largest producers of aluminium and aluminium products in Africa.
