GKY is a Virginia-based certified small business that was founded in 1975 as a specialized civil engineering, computer modeling, and environmental science firm. Since its inception, GKY has been in the business of developing practical solutions to challenging problems in the areas of water quality, water resources, hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental analysis. GKY has assisted numerous clients with MS4 permit compliance, utility development, TMDL impact analysis, and stormwater infrastructure improvements. In addition, GKY has completed watershed management studies, floodplain studies, and completed designs for BMPs in numerous municipalities, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions. GKY is headquartered in Chantilly, VA, with an additional office in Richmond, VA.
