GLA University

Shri GL Agrawal name adorns University, a tribute to a man who served and sought to make a difference throughout his lifetime. Established by his son and our present Chancellor, Shri Narayan Das Agrawal in 1998, GLA University was the fulfillment of his father's dream to establish a quality educational institution to serve the higher education needs of the youth of the region and beyond. The institute was accorded the status of a university under the U.P. State Legislative Act of 2009 (UP Act 21 of 2010). Spread across 110 acres of land, the University is home to more than 12,000 students enrolled in a variety of professional courses. Well designed and maintained buildings, contemporary laboratories, spacious residential complexes and recreational facilities make the GLA campus one of the best in the region providing its students an ideal environment to hone their skills in an increasingly competitive and demanding world. With an alumni base of more than 17,000 students, GLAians are establishing a reputation to make a difference wherever they go. The University employs over 600 qualified teachers and over 700 staff members.
